Which areas of north London do you cover?

Our offices are situated in Bounds Green and Haringey, but we also cover the Wood Green, Hornsey, Harringay, Alexandra Palace, Tottenham, Arnos Grove, Bowes Park, Southgate, New Southgate, Palmers Green and Friern Barnet areas of north London.

Can you manage my property for let?

In short, yes! We have the ability to tailor our management service to your specific needs as a landlord, including rent collection, regular property inspections and management of all maintenance issues.

Do I need to have electrical appliances tested?

PAC tests for individual appliances are strongly advised. This, as well as the compulsory Electric Test Certificate or NICEIC Certificate which is compulsory and required prior to a tenant moving in; should offer the maximum peace of mind to any prospective tenant that your property is safe.

Can you help arrange the safety certificates I need to let my property?

Landlords are required by law to provide an up to date Gas Safety Certificate, Energy Performance Certificate and Electrical Safety Certificate (EICR certificate) before letting their property. Where instructed, Wilkinson Byrne can arrange for these checks to be carried out by our qualified engineers. Details of pricing for these certificates can be provided on request.

Who holds my tenant's deposit?

If Wilkinson Byrne manage your property, your tenants deposit will be registered with the Deposit Protection Service, Government recognised scheme. If we have rented your property on a “Let Only” basis we would require you to send us proof that you have registered the tenants deposit with a recognised Deposit Protection organisation within 14 Days of the start of the tenancy. We would be happy to register the deposit for you on a “Let Only” basis however, this would carry an extra charge of £100 + vat.
