COVID-19 Policies.

Learn more about the policies we have in place to help keep both clients and staff safe.

Under the current government guidance people living in England and who wish to move can still do so. In light of this we have processes in place to enable viewings and sales valuations to continue. We will continue to follow government guidelines closely to ensure the safety of our staff and our clients – this remains our top priority.

Our staff will be working in our branches in accordance with Government guidelines. We are not encouraging clients to visit our branches at this time, to protect our colleagues and clients alike.

We will be answering enquiries and arranging viewings in a COVID secure manner. If you need to meet with us, please contact us by telephone or email your local branch and an appointment can be arranged. Where entry to our offices is permitted we will be following the government guidelines, and please remember that you are required to wear a face covering.

Property Viewings

We hope to be returning to normal viewings very soon, but in the meantime we continue to implement a number of safety and social distancing measures, including:

  • Viewings may only to take place with the parties moving in (not family / friends etc).
  • Maximum of 2 adults at a time.
  • Maximum of 15 minutes inside the property.
  • You must wear a face mask during the viewing and either gloves or sanitize your hands. Our staff will be offering hand sanitizer.
  • Maintaining social distancing within the property (2 metres where possible, but always at least 1 metre)
  • All buyers/tenants will be called before the viewings to verify your COVID status. If you have any symptoms or have been around anyone with symptoms the viewing must be rescheduled.
  • For any properties which are vendor occupied we ask the vendor to wait outside the property if possible or in a room during viewing (unless they prefer to do the viewings themselves).
  • Vendors should leave doors open and lights turned on to reduce the need for potential buyers/tenants touching anything.
  • In empty properties windows should be left open where possible.
